Online English Usage Style Guides
For anyone who writes
As writers,
not editors, you do not need to buy many style books, unless you are interested

concerning grammar rules, using numbers and measures, writing styles, types of
documents, research, words that are commonly confused, etc.
If you are
writing for a university, website, or publication, always ask what style guide
they recommend. They may have their own house style.
